The Day You Begin by Jacquline Woodson
There will be times when the people around you don't understand you or things that you and your family feel are natural to the way you live. We don't know what we don't know and this book reminds us to stand strong in ourselves and the things that we do and believe in. The day we begin to feel confident about the life we live and start to share that with the people around us is the day we can start to see that we are more alike than we think.
